Bucket seat question
« on: February 14, 2009, 01:36:41 AM »
I did a search and found alot of post about seats from other chevy's but I am wondering how many of you have put bucket seats from some random car in your trucks? I have seen some from a VW GTI and some other misc rigs. Is there any car seats out there that will bolt right up? If not what do I need to do to install bucket seats?

On another note, I need to replace the carpeting in my truck, do the carpet kits cover the entire floor of the truck, or just up to the seat like mine currently does?

Thanks for any help guys, much appreciated.

I did some more searching and it looks like I found an answer for myself, sometimes you just got to take some more time. But I am still open to any suggestions.

You'll have to make your own brackets. I may be putting a set of Saturn seats in my Mutt or maybe a set of Suburban seats. I haven't decided yet.

I put a set of Toyota X-tra Cab seats in my 73.
Our carpet kits go from the toe board to the rear of the cab.
