Plain vinyl bench seat
« on: February 06, 2018, 09:46:53 PM »
I'm fixing up my 1990 Suburban after a bad interior fire. The factory front bench seat was just plain smooth vinyl. No pleats and no piping around the edges. I'm having problems finding anything close to what I had. I have a seat from a 70s crew cab that has good foam but needs new upholstery. Does anyone know where I can find it?

Have you checked with upholstery shops?

It's been forever since I had them done on my '73 & '74, but a mom & pop shop did the seats for a very reasonable price.

I was trying to avoid that because the only guy around here that does upholstery is a very slow grouchy old man. Other than that I'll have to drive 2 hours at least.
