newer seats in Suburban
« on: August 12, 2008, 10:32:37 AM »
Hey guys, I've searched a little and found some information- but I was wondering if anyone had put some newer Chevy truck seats (like 99 up) with the built in seat belts- into a suburban or blazer?  I know the truck floorpan is supposed to be different between 73-87 trucks versus blazer/burb.  I know it would require in depth mods to make brackets, just wondering if anyone has done ir or tried and decided it's too much of a PITA.  Thanks!

Burbs and Pickups have the same basic floors, Blazers have completely flat floors.  That is why you can get buckets from a Burb and bolt them into a pickup with just a little bending on of the seat brackets.

Can it be done, yes, but you would have to create a complet mounting bracket for them.
