Sounds pretty good to me, your looking at about mid 13s in the 1/4 mile

I'm impressed, but I also have a truck that would likely do low to mid 20's in the 1/4 @ 50mph. ;D

tghoward, good time, its so fun going to the track.

I would like to take mine to the track to see what it will do. 383 stroker (500ish hp), 3 speed reverse manual(3000 stall), 4:56 gears with 295/60/15. 81 shortbox 2 wheel drive.

Campcrf, how do you get that thing to hook up with that much power and that much gear?

SUX2BU99, I am not sure yet... lol... I am going to keep my 373's in it for now and run it at the track and see if i like it. Its still a one wheel burner. Everything is done except for the rear end.... I am hopeing the 456 isnt too low (i already bought them and ordered a truetrrac). Street slicks might work. Any suggestions?...

I've never had a vehicle with that kind of power before but in my opinion, you'd want probably a drag radial of some kind that you can use on the street and some Cal-trac bars for the leafs to make sure they put the power down to the ground.

Your 60 ft time was pretty good for not too much suspension work.
