Where to get a Tube Grille
« on: February 09, 2011, 06:48:27 PM »
I have been searching for a certain grille and was wondering if anyone knows where i can purchase it. It is a Tube grille and it has 9 square tube horizontal bars. It came on 80s K5 Blazers and C10 Trucks and other 80s Full-size.
This is the grille i am looking for.

I don't know, but I just stripped down a 77 k10 that had one on it.  I don't want it on my truck, it needs some work, if it will fit and you pay for shipping it's yours.  I can snap a pic and send it you if you want.  You need to make sure it will fit your truck.  Send me a pm if interested.

Good eye Bestie. The one on my truck is a Smittbuilt that was purchased over 10 years ago.

email these guys

Blazen offroad is no more. They have closed their doors. :(

For the record, their prices on bumpers were some of the lowest out there.

Your Rancho sticker is upside down...

I thought I did good getting 1 on right.
Those aren't stickers. They are vinyl shock covers and the "Rancho" is printed on there.
I had a few options.
A)Don't use the covers
B)flip the stabilizer around in the mount (that didn't look right)
C)Install in like it is and hope no one notices it.
So far Beastie, you are the first 1 to catch on. Good eye my friend.

Never seen those covers before. I just remember rancho shocks coming with its own red sticker to go over the white housing.

Could you rotate them 180* so the stickers face rearward?

The covers come with one end open to slide over the shock tube. The other end is closed with a slice in it to slide over the shock mounting bracket/bushing area. To rotate the cover 180 you would have to cut the sliced area off to slide it on. These covers fit nice and tight so I didn't want to mess with them.
I did try flipping the stabilizer 180 so the Rancho emblem was correct but it didn't look right. The nice thing about these covers is that this stabilizer set up is about 10 years old and still looks decent when the covers are wiped down with armor all (I'm sure the stabilizers have some surface rust but it is well hidden).

I meant rotating them, as if they "rolled" 180*

I get ya.
It only says Rancho on 1 side.
I could roll it so it would be blank.
Maybe I'll put that on my 2 do list once I get it running again.
