Are you sure that is where it is leaking from? Detent cable is a common leak point near the dipstick tube.

Can't say on the dipstick,

But
what happened with the rebuild????

People tap the considerable brain trust on this site, and never let them know how it turned out...

I will check to see if it’s coming from the detent cable , it was pouring out of the dipstick until I changed the O-Ring , now it’s barely leaking ..So I just assumed it was the dipstick O-Ring

The Transmission rebuild went well...I just finished putting new floor pans in and cab floor supports with help from a lot of the users on here how to do it ..Fixing to give it a tune up and fix that Dip Stick leak and make sure its not the Detent cable not leaking ...

Changed out the Detent cable Seal using the Top hat seal button everything up and now it seems like it leaks worse now ..With it being a 4wheel Drive I have limited space and can’t poke my head up there to see what’s leaking , going to try the mirror with forceps to see if it’s the detent cable seal again or Transmission tube ..This is getting so annoying

So I pulled the Transmission dipstick noticed it was creased, went to O’reillys bought the chrome dipstick which I HATE!  , before installation I took some Teflon tape wrapped it around the o-ring Seal  and inserted it into the transmission filled up the transmission ran it for 30 minutes  and No leaks...Fingers Crossed no red spot in the morning
