Hello everyone, I am looking for some stock looking rims either 15x9 or 15x10 4.25-4.5 backspacing with a 5x5 bolt patern that accepts the stock dogdish up caps. I can find 15x8 in that style. But would like to go wider to accept 295/50-15 tires. Any info would be helpful.

Hello All,

Looking to upgrade my C20 Fuel system. I currently have a 14-gallon tank on the passenger side that is being used as the main tank. However, the sending unit isn't hooked up to the gauge so I'm guessing on gas level right now. I am looking at getting a new 20-gallon tank from Jegs. Question is about the fuel sending unit. the truck currently has a 305 with a 4-barrel Quadrajet. I'm looking at the fuel sending units and I believe I need the one with two outlets (supply and vent). I haven't seen a return line to the current tank. Is this normal for these old carb setups? I have attached what is currently in my shopping cart from Jegs. Let me know your thoughts. I'm planning on using a T with a ball valve to control which tank is being used, but the sending unit will be hooked up to the main tank.

Hello, I am restoring an 1987 Chevy R10.  I am converting it to power windows and locks from donor doors. I have acquired an original door harness for each side. When I ran the harness through A Plr. and into the cab on the passengers side there was an existing 6 plug female block/connector above the glovebox that looked to be correct for the passengers side harness. Is this possible it is pre wired for these options? On the drivers side I could not find the same plug. (I have yet to verify the plug and power on the passengers side). I did remove a doner harness a while back but my issue is that the plugs on each end of the donor (cab) harness are not correct.  Any help with locating the schematics as to how each side ties into the dash harness would be greatly appreciated.

I'm attempting to do something not a lot of people have done in one of these trucks, I plan to drive the pan-american highway. I'll start in Prudhoe bay Alaska and end in Argentina, although I'll probably see how far I can make it south in Chile, I'm not following the highway, I'm gonna float around where ever I feel and in south America and Mexico I'll probably zig zag from coast to coast. I have a 76 chevy k20, it currently has a 350/th400 with a 10 bolt front end, 14 bolt rear and an np208 transfer case. I plan to swap it for a lightly modified 24v common rail cummins, I'll keep the axles, and find a manual transmission and transfer case (probably an np205) to fit the cummins, I'm only choosing the cummins for reliability, I need it to be capable of running high sulfer fuel and I'm going to "bulletproof" it. I'm going to take the bed off and build a camper on the back, I'm looking at 35in tires and a 4in lift. For those who are unfamiliar, some of the roads in south America are straight up offroad trails and I need the vehicle to be capable but also dependable, I'll probably be gone for 1.5-2 years. I'm looking for any advice people have to get the truck to a point I don't have to worry about it, what suspension can I get that will flex some but still be able to handle the weight of the camper? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!
