Title: Hauling a Cab in a Short Bed??
Post by: harcorshe on June 07, 2018, 04:33:41 PM
Found a good cab a few hours away.

Wondering if it will fit sideways in my short bed. Anyone tried this? Based on my measurements it "should" work but I really don't want to figure out that I'm wrong after I get there.

Thanks!

I've never tried it, but I would say it would be a lot easier to borrow or rent a small utility trailer.
I've parted out allot of trucks.  It always amazed me how sheet metal could survive 20+ years on a truck, only to get damaged when the buyer cuts corners transporting it home. Ive seen it happen a few times.

Good advice.  That's what I decided myself. Thanks
