Why not just swap over the whole axle assembly?

So for a little less confusion , are you wanting to take the front differential gears from a 4wd, and put them in the rear differential of a 2wd?

Gets confusing calling things a front rear. Two different locations.

I believe he wants to swap the ring and pinion from the front  of the blazer 411s with the rear of the R10 308s. Not sure if he wants matching gears in the blazer or 411s in the R10 or both. The front axle uses reverse cut gears. They can't be swapped.
