my 79 ever since i got it always pulled posi when i power braked it. here lately it hasnt been doing that all the time and now its almost always a single track. is there anyway i could shim/rebuild it so it would do posi again with out buying a whole new posi track? its a 14 bolt i dont know the gear ratio, 10.5 inch full floater.

What kind of posi unit do you have? If it's a clutch type it's rebuildable.

tell you the truth i got no idea- id say its factory but i dont have a sticker to prove it- but i can't imagine the old guy i bought it from puting a posi trac in it :D

If you put it in Neutral and jack up one tire can you spin it with say 150lb-ft torque?

ill check that tom. if i can still c it- were suppos to get up to 10 inches of snow :P
