Other than the orientation of the oil hole, is anyone aware of critical differences among
hydraulic roller lifters for various generations/years of SBC engines?
The oil hole in LS series engines will point to the rear (or front) when installed;
earlier engines have that hole oriented either up or down.
The oil under pressure will get in regardless of hole orientation, so..............????
Dimensions are identical from what I have been able to find.
I see listings for roller lifters broken down be several year groupings, then I see places that
list 1 part # as applicable for "87 and up."
These are for non-AFM usage..........them buggers ARE different!
