I think for a mild build, they are plenty. There were a few different intake runner sizes available, I took the 'sufficient' route. The 350 I have has mild dish top pistons. So, timing and compression isnt that much of a concern. Now, I can pretty much build a strong shortblock with variations in cams, and I dont really have to worry about modifying the top end anymore-for the most part. But to answer your question, yes. I could drive the truck every day-it runs great. I once had a 70 El Camino-I ran the fuelie 2.02 heads with a mild cam(It was the 350hp 327 cam from the late 60's; .447/.447???), headers and a B&M stall converter. I ran 13.99s on street tires and 87octane. I bet you could bolt on a solid amount of hp by just using a similar set of heads with no other real major mods. Now if you have headers, and duals...the gain would be that much more.

Ya, everything goes back right where its supposed to-A/C, Alt...the usual accesories. I believe it even has the vortex style intake bolts(the straight down ones). I would have to double check. Google Skip White Performance. That would be able to tell you exactly what they will accomodate-

Have you guys heard of Muskegon cams and lifters? There is a guy selling a whole brand new cam kit on Craigslist locally at an awesome price. I have never personally heard of the company. Also he said it is a 274. Is that a good upgrade size?

when I rebuild my 350 I was looking at a 268 cam with vortec heads with new springs to get a little over the .480 lift limit 274 might be a bit much with stock heads and springs
