73 c10 3 on the tree column problems

Only throws 2nd and reverse. Is it repairable and are parts available? Or is floor conversion more realistic?

This should be moved to heading 73 - 87 Chevy trucks under interior & equipment.

It is repairable, there are very detailed threads on how to repair steering column's.  Do you know if it is a steering column or transmission problem ?

While it is likely a steering column or trans problem, it could be a linkage problem.  Especially as old a truck as it is.  Check all the linkage for excessive wear or bent parts first before proceeding to column/trans.

Do a search in engine/drivetrain on here, there has got to be something.  As far as parts, check with the store (on top of page next to home button on every screen ), the site owner chris (captkoas) is very helpful if he does not have something.  He will point you in the right direction if he can.
Don't worry about the post, was just letting you know, that is how we all learn from time to time.
