I'm cleaning up the fuel tank, brackets and such. My 4 year old son is running around with a puddy knife scraping the frame. He says "it says something here daddy".
Anyone ever seen this? It is on the driver's side frame raile between the front and rear cab mount on the top of the frame says "FY5718-100" I might be wrong on the first two letters. Any info on this??

I've never seen any factory markings like that. Perhaps your truck had a frame swap? Did you check the frame vin to see if it matches your cab's vin?
-
I where would I find this vin# on the frame?
-
74 should be a top of the frame rail near the steering box.

Found it on the frame. My cab is in different building. Going there nos to check now

Yes, definitely strange, especially with no info out there on it
