hello
wondering if anyone has an opinion on aftermarket replacement hoods. I have a 75 gmc c25, the price is reasonable but the shipping is almost more than the product...
thanks

The stock style aftermarket hoods that I've seen appear to be made of thinner gauge sheet metal than the original GM hoods. I'd look for a good used GM hood if you can find one.
I have a Goodmark cowl induction hood on my 81 and it is a high quality hood. I'm very happy with it.

When I bought my truck It had a aftermarket hood , it's wasn't that bad just not as heavy and a tad bit more flexible , it's your call there .

I don't think anyone makes an aftermarket stock replacement 75 hood. I think they're all the 79-80 style for replacement 73-80 hoods.
I have an aftermarket one in stock that seems pretty stout. If I ever need it I won't hesitate to use it.
