Sounds pretty neato. are you gunna make it with cupholder or anything in it?

I was thinkin about making one out of an old military ammo box I have. i can't weld or i would put some cup holders like in the top and cut the lid in half and have it hinge in the back and open up about 3/4 of the way back but have the cupholder in the front part that doesn't hinge. just a rough idea.

that would look pretty cool... i may add some side mount ones later like the ones on roddoors' website

i'm going to add to this one later and have it come up between and around the top of the seats w/ subwoofer in the middle when i have more time... i just need to have this one done so i have somewhere to mount the gauges and switches for the airride because we are starting my install on all of it friday

Can't wait to see it. I'm building one myself right now for my audio system. It's going to be full length and rise up to about shoulder height at the back and up to about the dash vent area at the front. It will hold my 12" sub, electronic xover, and dual head units. Always like to see custom work in these trucks! I'm big into sound quality car audio and am going for an old skool look so no fiberglass in this one.

What are ya makin it out of?

My ammo box idea won't work. there is no way that thing is fittin between the dash and the bench and I wann keep my bench. I woul dhave to really cut the box down to size and it would just ruin it. *awaits another unique idea*

sorry guys i have em on the camera... but my gf has it and is outa town... whe should be back tomorrow night and i'll try n get em posted.... i was really impressed w/ how well it came out and how much easier it was than i thought it was going to be! i learned one thing though! resin gels and hardens FAST... you have to haul ass to get a smooth coat on before it starts to get hard... and mix little at a time.
