Add-on to Firefox (and Chrome) available to view Photobucket photos

I just found out about this today and thought I'd pass along...

Firefox has an add-on now that allows those Photobucket photos to be viewed once again.  The add-on seems to work like it should, so pages that had the PB notice will now show the original photos.

There's an add-on for Chrome users that does the same thing.

This just made my day. There were so many informative photos on here I thought Id never be able to reference again.

I added "Photobucket Fixer" to my Linux Firefox and it worked. Thanks!

im checking now that picture i just added is from photobucket and it appears to work on chrome and IE. did photbucket renege their photo hostage situation?

I don't know the answer, but have a suspicion the "fix" is a workaround.

Your best bet is to do what I did and move your pix to a host that you trust. I moved mine to my Google Drive. Gah Bye P-Bucket, may you eternally rot
