Rebuilding dual tank push-pull valve
« on: May 03, 2019, 11:17:32 AM »
I've got a 75 c30 with a 454. The original push pull tank selector valve for the dual fuel tanks has started to leak where the cable goes into the valve. Has anyone rebuilt one of these? I would rather keep the original type instead of switching to a electric one. Failing the rebuild, does anyone have a operational one sitting around collecting dust that they want to part with? Thanks for the help!

I occasionally see one for sale but I'm sure you can clean it up and replace the seals. Post pix of your rebuild for the tech pages.

My band-aid fix to get it home from my winter storage facility was to bypass it to run directly from one tank. I will definitely try to document the process when I pull it off the truck and get to work on it. With the 454/TH400 I really need all the fuel capacity I can get. ;D
