Not exactly sure what you have in mind, so here are three possibilities to consider (no recommendations are implied):

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/HLY-550-411/

But if you are going to go to this kind of trouble and expense, why not convert to sequential port injection?   ???

Either way, there are always hidden costs (usually a lot), problems (usually a lot), fabrication challenges, lots of decisions, and delays.  Do you need to pass any emissions requirement now, or in the foreseeable future?

Keep the TBI as in the factory setup including the ECM?  You have to be particular on the cam selection and you will have to have a chip burned.

Just a quick question...what is the driving force behind the 383? Why not just use a 400? I've heard the saying, "there is no replacement for displacement". I have a 400 sitting on my stand, and I am looking fwd to throwing that baby in my 84 4x4.
Its cool that you wanna stroke that motor, but either way you are looking at balance and clearance. Why not just keep the large 4.125 bores of the 400? Good luck man!

Good call Capt-but with everything he is going to spend on stroking his tree-fitty, just get a 400 block and have more cubes, same stroke-
