Would it be possible to put 1 ton springs on my truck to lift it I was thinking of taking the springs from a c30 of the same year and putting them on my truck to lift it a little

1 ton springs may be either 52" or 56" between the mounting points, but are usually 56".  The 1/2 ton should have 52" springs.

If you find that the 1 ton has 56" springs you may be able to still make the switch if you can also move the mounting brackets.  However, the 1 ton frame is thicker and I'm not sure if that affects how the brackets are bolted on.

Also remember that your truck may get some lift, but it will also ride a lot stiffer.

i didnt even think he was talking about the rear. if you want to lift the rear best bet is blocks. but i thought he was talking about coil springs for the front

I guess it never occurred to me that he might want to lift the front of his truck.  Most guys are trying to lift up the back to get a little "rake" in the lines of the truck.

I believe the only front spring choices for the C series are standard coils (for small block) or HD coils (for big block).  The compressed height (10") is listed as the same for both springs, so I'm not sure whether the HD coils make it sit any higher.

Use Moog 6454 coils. They were often used for 3/4 ton trucks or the "big ten" trucks. it will lift your front end up for sure, bigger diameter coil. The same coil is often used to lower truck and improve suspension. I cut a coil off a pair in conjunction with a drop spindle to get a 5 inch drop in front. The coils improved the ride considerably even being cut (not heated).
