Installing the drive shaft

It’s me again sorry to smother you guys with questions I have a 74 c10 and I’m getting ready to install the driveshaft, my question is do I need to lube the outside of the yoke or grease the inside before installing, thank you

you dont have to but theres two seals on the yoke one on the inside and then the tail shaft seal. the only one i would do anything about is the tail shaft seal, once you remove your old shaft you will lose some trans fluid out the rear of the trans you can lube the shaft of the yoke up but if its the old yoke it should have fluid on it, thats the only seal i would worry about
