When you take on as much as I have in the last 10 years, do everything yourself and are the sole provider for your family you re-prioritize. I had to put this one on pause while I finish the orange truck.
For me I enjoy the build as much as I enjoy the drive...

Now that the remainder of the work on the orange truck will wait for Spring and I changed the lifters on pinky, I started back on the 74. I installed the fenders and radiator support to set the body lines and then stripped down the radiator support to finish the metal work. I dropped it off yesterday at the powder coater so I should get it back in about a week or two. Hoping to get this one done this Summer finally! Then it's on to the 75 K5 project

I lost a bunch of pictures I took so I'll take some more this weekend. Made up some gussets and got the parts back from powder coating. The radiator support looks mint, glad I didn't waste time with it stripping it forever. Kinda nice to hand someone a part and get it back nice
I used my camber caster gauge and trammel to do the alignment, put some chrome hardware on the control arms and made brake hose brackets that came out good. I rerouted some of my electrical in a different type of conduit and ran the power cable for the power distribution block that I'm hiding under the hood. There will be a remote charge terminal and pdc for accessories like the fan relay and such. Hoping to get the radiator support and fenders back on this weekend.

I'm glad I had it powder coated, came out nice. I think it's just gloss black, but I didn't ask him. I got the fenders aligned to the doors and put the radiator support in. Made good progress, I also welded in the gussets for the 4-link and started preparing the wiring for the front lights.

Argent and chrome or painted depending on your options. 73-74 were amber lenses. I have both clear and amber for the front and side markers so in the end I'll probably run whatever I think looks the best. I also have a brand new nos grille (chrome) that is going on after it's all said and done. Thanks for the kind words, it keeps me motivated.

An impeccable product, Vile! All of your vehicles are head turners! It's workmanship like yours that helps motivate the rest of us. Thanks!
