Steering box reseal?

I have a 1985 Chevrolet C30 pictured in my avatar.  My PS box is leaking around the steering shaft where the rag joint attaches.  I haven't researched it, just wondering if anyone has fixed one that was leaking, how easy and is there any special tools required...
