Headers, different exhaust tones??
« on: December 12, 2009, 08:35:56 PM »
can headers make your exhaust sound better, or will factory manifolds give you the same tone, im thinking about putting headers on my 81 c10 silverado 350 bone stock, any suggestions?

Yeah you;d have to use shorty's to use the y pipe otherwise I wouldn't bother.

i'll still need a reducer of some sort though right cuz stock size is like only what 2 and 1/4 or 2 and 1/2 and the flanges arent the same either right?

I got some flowtech shorties for my 88, and they fit right in.

All normal practicality and rational money handling goes out of the window when it comes to my truck.
