Hello from Pembrokeshire UK
« on: September 29, 2019, 12:55:15 PM »
Hi everyone, thanks for accepting me into the community, I've just recently purchased a 76 C10 Cheyenne long bed, still quite a rarity in the UK so I'm going to need a lot of help getting it fixed up.
Story so far, PO fitted a crate 383 engine but the tranny was no good, no forward traction only ran in reverse, we're pulling the TH350 and swapping in a TH400 so hopefully it will be driving soon.
Body is fairly straight but as it came from Nevada a bit scorched from the sun and the dash is toast, most things we've tried so far still seem to work.
Thanks again
Graham

Hello and welcome from across the pond!  You should have a lot of fun with that truck.  And, help is just a mouse click away.

Thanks for the welcomes, spent Tuesday swapping out the tranny, all went well until I discovered I'd bought the wrong size conversion u/j so couldn't join it up to test it  >:(
Hope to get the right joint tomorrow and be rolling by the weekend.
