Which Radiator do I need?
« on: March 27, 2014, 03:15:16 PM »
Hey Guys - So i noticed my radiator leaking in a few places so I decided to pull it and get a new one. Was originally thinking the junkyard, but now thinking Summit or Jegs or ??

The truck itself is an 85, but the engine is an 87 fuel injected. When going to get a new radiator, do I spec it off of the 85 truck or the 87 350 engine? (well, at least the sticker inside the door says it has an '87 fuel injected engine).

How do i make sure i get the correct radiator??

Thanks!

Buy the biggest radiator that will fit your mounts. Then you know that you have enough cooling.
