Engine Paint - High Temp

Is there a place to get custom color Engine Paint - High Temp? I was thinking about painting the engine I am going to build with paint to match my paint.

I went ahead and bought a couple cans of Dupli-Color in red today, plus high temp engine primer. I would prefer to get a good color match, but can live with it. I am still in the gathering stage of parts before I start building the engine.

VHT is a high temp paint. But it need an hour at 250° to bake to a more durable finish.
Most auto parts stores has high temp engine paint.

Custom colored hi temp in a can, no, this is automotive base/clear.  painted a few like this without issue.  Of course that 454 is in New Zealand now... in a jet boat.

LOL I wouldnt say that but I did ship a BUNCH of 81-87(91) OEM dashes there.  I kept the Hilborn but he offered me more money that it would cost to replace it so..  I sold it.  Still havent replaced it, but I am a BBC fan.  It was all I ran prior to 2003.  Now I have a garage full of LS'

On technique, I'm sure you masked off the cover then shot the ribs. What did you use to remove the paint from the top off the fins? Or did you mask them as well?

The fins were masked. I still haven't put this one in its home yet.

My brother did his "creamsicle" 1968 Pickup that he put a 2007 LBZ Duramax in, in base/clear to match the chevy orange on the body. He hasn't driven it a ton, but it still looks amazing.
A modern 2k automotive paint can withstand thermal cycling up to nearly 200° C (392° F), and modern 2k clear can withstand even higher. So if you think about your 268° F boiling point of 50/50 antifreeze under 15 psi of pressure, even with some heat soak after shutting off a hot engine, you still have some margin. The biggest issue is going to be proper prep before paint.
