Blend Door Issue, 87 R10
« on: February 15, 2018, 08:31:59 PM »
I've got a simple, yet frustrating issue. Just replaced the heater core (quite a pain in the you know what) which was an ordeal in itself after breaking the heater box and getting lucky to find another one.
Anyways, got everything in, new hoses on, and was hooking up the duct work when I ran into an issue. Out of the 25 pics I took to ensure I got everything hooked back up, I did not take a pic of the underside of the Temperature control head unit where the blend for cable attaches. As of now, I believe it's not hooked up right as the hot/cold does not work. Not wanting to finish buttoning it up or starting it until she's perfect again. All I need is a little advice and maybe a picture showing how it hooks up? Appreciate the help everyone!

Not sure if anyone can help, but this picture shows what I mean. All I need is a picture of how this actually attaches cuz I don't think I have it right. When I move the temperature control, the entire cable moves not just the interior cable.
