Hello from Mississippi!
« on: May 14, 2013, 04:20:27 PM »
This is a great site! I look forward to talking with you guys and learning a lot from your experience and wisdom. Here are a few pics of my truck. 1983 GMC Sierra Classic. My grandfather left it when he passed and sadly it has fallen into disrepair. Any suggestions, advice, helpful hints are welcome!

Welcome from NW Indiana, looks all cosmetic.  At least it isn't a rust bucket like we see in Chicagoland.

Thanks everyone!

zieg85- most of the issues with this truck are cosmetic. There are just a few mechanical issues that need to be addressed. Hopefully...

frotosride- I'm in northeast MS. Near Tupelo. Ultimately, I would like to completely restore it. As for the immediate future, I hope to get it in highway shape to use as a daily driver for a while.

Thanks again for the warm welcome! Am I doing something wrong that causes the pictures to be so small when I upload them?

Ni it's fine if we want to enlarge them you can just click on the pic itself and it will show the size that you loaded it as and if you want to see it full size just click on the image name below the pic.

With the new way to load attachments you can actually use Paint on your laptop and resize the pics with out having to wait to upload to another site.

Good deal! Thanks! Lets try this again. The engine compartment has some issues. Parts missing, wires and vacuum hoses hanging loose everywhere. Nothing major hopefully.
