'76 GMC High Sierra
« on: January 15, 2008, 11:10:30 AM »
Hey, I just got bought a '76 GMC High Sierra in Oct. 2007! This truck run good but it has a rebuilt 350 and a 1 barrel carb. Do I need a 2 barrel to get more power?

Runs go tho!! But think a 2barrel with a new intake will give me some mo git-up-and-go!!!

I'm not sure if I need to scrap the whole right fender and get a new on or cut the cancer and keep what's left!

I've heard that new fenders don't have the best quality as the orginals do, and they cost alot!!!

You sure it isn't a 2 barrel.  A one barrel isn't factory.  The 2 bbl is and they get killer gas mileage.

The front fenders we sell have really good fitment.  ccz145a (Chip) has some going on his truck that he got from me, so does N2TRUX.
As to whether to salvage it, depends on how bad it is...

Yeah, I'm sure it's a 1 bbl!

The right fender has cancer mostly along the bottom and around the wheel housing! The rust at the wheel housing is what confused me to replace or cut!

What's the price on the fenders you have?

I live in MS!!

What about dash boards and seats?

Hey! I bought new flasher and hazzard light from autozone, and when I put the darn things in and clicked my right turn signal, the hazzards started going! Did the same with the left turn? What's wrong?

I did change some fuse??

Negative, shipping a fender is $125 as it HAS to go truck freight.  But if you are getting more sheetmetal parts they can be added to the pallet at no extra charge..

Are you wanting a replacement seat or an upholstery kit?  We have an aftermarket seat, but it isn't like factory.  But we do have factory upholstery kits.  As for dashes, if you are looking for a complete dash for a 73-80, I don't have any that I would personally sell to anyone, I have dash covers though.
