Title: LS3 525hp with 4L70E
Post by: 79K10Crusher on September 17, 2014, 09:50:49 PM
Just ordered my LS3 from Pace Performance.  I'm trying to make sure I get all the parts I need.  I know capt and a few others have already done these LS swaps.  Going in a 1985 C10 Silverado short bed.  I ordered a be cool rad with dual fans.  Dirty dingo motor mounts with one inch set back.  New tube transmission crossmember.  Holley fuel pump with braided lines and AN fittings.  This is going to be the connect and cruise package so it has the controllers with it.  March serpentine system for the front.  All of this should be here by next week.  Feel free to chime in and let me know if I'm missing something. Thanks, Brandon.

Sorry, I can't help. I stayed with a small block.  Best of luck on your build though.

Are you going to document the build here?
I'd be interested in following along.
I think a few members here have done LS swaps, but not many.
At a cost of $13,000 for the LS3 connect & cruise set up, I'm guessing your the first member here to install one.
Good luck with the project.

What are you doing for speedo?  Are you running a Holley external pump?  I wouldn't....  Are you running AN front to back?  Did you get the Conversion fittings for the saddle tank/s to adapt the lines?
All I can think of right off hand...
