Inches lowered to camber angle ratio?
« on: July 01, 2017, 04:34:29 PM »
Hi all. I am planning to lowering the front of my C10, either by cutting or new lowering springs. I recently did my alignment after putting new tie rods and my camber was already perfectly zero. I know powering will add some negative camber, but how much? I would be fine with one to two degrees max, as this probably won't wear my tires too bad. May actually help cornering a tad. Looking to drop 2 inches from springs now and two more later from spindles(which won't affect camber anyway)
From people who have done it ...how much have you lowered and how much camber did it add? Thank you.

1986 C10 LWB. Daily'd project.
(Mild 350, nv3500, 3.08 rear w/locker, slightly lowered) the drift truck
It puts the "fun" in "functional"

Not sure what you are actually asking.  Camber is an adjustment.  When you lower one you must readjust to get it back to spec.

I am aware. I am asking if anybody has a general idea just how much camber your stock suspension will have if you lowered a couple inches
