hi all,
had a small accident last year
, with a motor bike. the damage to the front didn't look to bad all panel damage.( bumper/grill/rad support/hood) but has cost a bomb with shipping. the truck has been off the road all this time. so I thought this is the time to give it a NEW look. I ordered all the parts, but when the hood arrived it was damaged. so had to send it back, so had to repair my original hood. I'm also going to respray the truck in RAPTOR BEDLINER
first pic the damage
3 pic removal
4 pic mock-up
5/6 pic making induction cowl
I will put more pics as we go

Haha...
"Bonnet", eh? I lived in England a few years so I almost didn't catch that.
When you are talking about a Kia Rio, I think the word "bonnet" is quite fitting, but somehow it feels inadequate to describe the 100 lbs of metal that goes into a GM truck hood.

yeah the new HOOD was nothing like the original one in weight. was worth the fabrication to make induction cowl.

How does the cowl induction work without having an opening in the back of the hood for airflow and without having the engine air intake sealed off from the engine bay?

ok, how much you got in paint?
and how much you got in headlights?
and do those LEDs on the back of the cab act as turn signals or brake lights?

you get 4 bottles of raptor 750ml (each), and one tin of hardener for 4 bottles 250ml (each) then you add 100ml of tint.
I used 16 bottles of raptor. £70.00 per kit
the head lights have DRLS fitted 4x6 cree 15 led they are very bright (plug and play) flood/spot
the leds on the cab are marker lights (3 led button) I have red to rear and amber down the side sills and bed rail. I will put pic of the markers on later
has any one fitted a 52inch led light bar to the roof of a c10 with brackets ? any pics

so about £280 into your paint? so about $364 usd. ive kind of always wanted my truck to look like a lorry at night. those buttons might be the key but still not sure how il would feel with 20 or so going down the sides lol

plus the paint tint was £90 for two litres. and the markers look cool on a night, you can get them in GREEN/RED/AMBER/BLUE AND WHITE. there about £5 each

thought I would polish my alloy wheels, with MOTHERS mag & aluminum polish. i used a foam polish ball, and took me all day to do all 4 wheels.
they turned out good, but if I had spent more time on each wheel they would look like chrome.
