2" to 4" Lift in 3 days
«

It was quite the project this past weekend, but with some help from good friends, I took my 2" lift with 33s off and put the 4" lift with 35s on.
The first pick is the ride height before we got started.
Then we just tore into it.

That's a great looking truck.
How does it ride?
Any pictures of the new set up?

We decided to take off the front clip to get better access to everything, but mostly to replace the radiator support and wheel well.

Made sure to change the oil while we were in there
It did look like a bomb went off in the driveway. I'm sure the neighbors were calling the HOA.

Then it was putting it all back together. New shocks (bilisteins), new brakes, brake lines, etc.
New to me 35s and front and rear springs.

By Monday night she was ready for the commute on Tuesday
. Nothing like having a deadline.
I ended up taking it in for ball joint replacement. We ran out of time on that, but she drives like new. So much fun. Wish I had done this sooner.

No suspension build is complete without a new steering wheel

Looks really good! Can't even tell you had the whole front apart. Nice job. Love the rims.

Thanks LTZ! I was amazed at how well it came back together. Wasn't perfect, but we did it.

I also have to give a shoutout to CultHero from Pirate4x4 who was the inspiration and catalyst in making this project a reality. I could not have done it without his help and guidance. His build on Pirate4x4 has been fun to watch too:

Oh, and don't forget the $40 cup holder for the Starbucks... Now I can't shift into reverse.

Such a dramatic difference but I would be looking at lowering the back end to level out the truck.
