I'm thinking of getting a lift for my truck before winter, how tall and what size tires should I go?

Yea, Id like to see the pic. I was thinkin 4" and 35's. The 33's look small on my 77 plow truck w/4" lift.(maybe cuz the front fenders are rotted up to the body line!)
Thanks, Tony

ill try and get one tomorrow (finally a day off work!)
you thought 33's were bad with 4 i had 32's for a long while. I hated how it looked. 35's & 4" are about right on these trucks. off course, im gonna try and get a 6" skyjacker and 37's when i get another Daily Driver... its almost paid off sooo close...
BTW what gears/tranny do you have. i can tell you from personal experience you wont have alot of take off power with 3.33's and 35's. But highway mileage is great!

Well I have 308 gears, 700R4 tranny, stock 350. But I plan on upgrading to a High performance 700R4 and a 350or 400 that makes about 350-450HP. Take off with 31's aint bad now, Im also considering a 6" Rough country lift and 36-38" tires though. Well see, maybe 4" and 35s, so I can beat the ricers!

well here are some pics.

youll definetely want gears, my truck doesnt put out those numbers, but the engine has alot of guts but the gears steal it all. Ive got 3.33 4 speed manual tranny, headers, exhaust, intake and my take offs are SLOW. Im going with 4.56's when winter is up and 37" boggers i hope. (gonna get a cherokee to daily drive) if you want to offroad it go with the 6" and maybe cutout flares if your interested.
