Question on Vent Windows

Was having an issue tracking down a driver's side, clear vent glass for 73-79 (78 C20), and wanted to see if I am missing something.  From the catalogs I've checked , it looks like the LH clear version for 73-79's is literally the only version that isn't stocked.  For example, there is a certain parts site that says you can use an 85-87 instead, which I ordered but doesn't seem to be right.  Has anyone had to deal with this, or maybe could point me in the right direction?  I've also tried other parts sites, ebay/google/CL with no luck, and haven't found anything on this specific topic from a forum search.

You CANNOT use a 85-87 vent glass in a 73-80 frame.  You HAVE to get a 73-80 glass for it...

You can however swap the whole vent over to the newer style.

Sorry, I should've clarified that I did read that thread (after I ordered the part of course  ).  I did not think about swapping the whole thing though. 

Does anyone have any other parts resources handy that may have a 73-80 glass?  I'd prefer to do that first since I have everything on both sides intact except the drivers side glass.  I was not able to find it on this site's store.
