Interior fender well upgrade

My boss has a 2000 suburban

I have an 83 suburban

On HIS, the panels on either side of the 3rd row are nice, felt covered with compartments. Mine are just the steel inner skin, that attribute to a great deal of road/muffler/tire noise. Has anyone attempted to fit these late model pieces to older suburbans?

Caster,
You can use the inner panels from any Silverado trim Burb to go into yours.  As for the 2000 model.  The rear section isn't the same...

Find any Silverado model, it ought to have nicer interior panels.  All the way up to 1991 will work.  Seats and door panels and headliners and dash panels will also fit.

Me, I like the exposed metal.  Means the kids can't horse around or else they'll get a concussion and miss school!
