« on: September 12, 2020, 04:48:50 PM »
Now engine missing. Will start but sounds terrible and vibration like crazy. Had been running great. Old interstate battery finally died. Replaced with another interstate 1000ca,800cca. 383 stroker w edelbrock tbi. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Truck running terrible.

It's either ignition, vacuum, or fuel.

Does it rattle at high rpm?

It’s worse at low rpm. Just started. Was fine on way to auto parts store. I replaced batt myself in parking lot. I noticed it immediately after. Like night and day. Don’t know what happened.   Old batt was interstate 800cca/1000ca agm. New is wet interstate with same specs. $100 cheaper. Didn’t need the premium agm. Thanks for responding.

Never mind. Plug wire came loose and melted against header on driver side. Replacing plug wires. All good now.
