I have an 87 C10 with Wilwood Front Brakes and approximately 5-7 Drop (spindles and springs front, C-Notched out back) currently I have Riddler 650 wheels in 18x8 Fr on 245/40/18 and 0-Offset and 18x9.5 with 275/40/18 (also 0-Offset) and I was wondering if I could run the 18x9.5 (275/40s) in the front??? You might not be able to tell from the pics but the rears have a better sidewall profile that I would love to run in the fronts - well that and the wider wheel with the bigger lips for the front also.
The plan is to buy a set of the 20x10s (even larger lips) with some 295 or 305s to run in the back.
What do you guys think???

Welcome form SoCal San Diego!
Haven't seen these types of post get much traction... 8)
It is a very subjective topic with thousands of differing ideas.
I say 'go for it' and tell us what you think!
BTW, you were right, we couldn't tell the diff between the front and back with the pics provided, AND-wait for it-
Nice Square!

Man, that looks a lot like my '86. I have Ridler 650c on mine. 20x8 (255/45-20) and 20x10 (305/50-20)
I'll try to grab a pic.....

My drop is similar, but maybe more around 4/6.

I also did the long haul on HRPT2022. I probably saw you along the way.
