the 14 bolt is it out of the ¾ ton? the frames between the ¾ ton and ½ tons are identical except for the thickness and its only a small amount so you can swap all the front parts over. is the donor truck also a burb? i know theres a difference in 2wd trucks vs 4wd as far as the center hump goes idk about burbs and you might have to make room for the transfer case to fit either body lift or swapping center. but you might not even have to worry about that, have to wait till someone who knows can answer

Use this for the u-joints you might have to measure your old u joints but report back with what yours have and ill try to make a reference chart for others. the 14 should pretty much be a direct swap. are you swapping springs also?

If the springs are a direct swap i probably would as it wouldnt hurt to plus i plan on towing my pop up and a utility trailer with it the guy said hed do 250 for the complete chassis and said it was fine if i pulled the diff cover to inspect gears is the front end a direct swap cause i plan on taking the front cross member out to replace mine as its a lil tender and this truck is from California

its a direct swap. the front can swap with the crossmember might be able to do it with out idk hopefully someone else can help out. count the number of springs in the rear cause they might have the same amount and the springs between ½ and ¾ ton are the same its just the number of springs that makes a difference

Impossible to say

Are you referring to the spring pad or to the wheel mounting surface ?

They made several variations
SIngle rear wheel.  Dual rear wheel.  Drum brake.  Disc brake
Cab & chassis

All are different widths but not enough to worry about except the dual rear wheel models

Maybe same width.   May be two or three inches wider

The stock 10 & 12 bolts make the truck look funny since they are for some reason, several inches narrower than the front axles

i really dont think theres any difference in the axle widths as long as theyre swr. there is a difference in the widths of the front axle compared to the rear and some say this is for "tracking"
