Going to have to dig up the wiring diagram... this wasn't hooked up but was plugged in to both sides of the transmission on the other end when I tore it apart. 86 cab with th350 if anyone can save me the trouble of curiosity.

Found out this is the torque converter lock up harness from a friend of mine. How the wires hook up I'm unsure of. Don't plan on investigating until I'm done putting this gal together.

This one sat for awhile. Bought a front clip earlier this year off a guy that made a trailer out of a bed. Would say original spindles considering it had original ball joints.

Passenger tank straps. May not have to strip these all the way. They was looking good as I was cleaning them.

Sold the 20's that was on it today. Going to drop the core support and rallies I got off at sand blasters this week.

What she used to look like. Asked the original builder, he said it was a 6/9 drop. I'm not doing the axle flip and I'm taking off the drop spindles. Reason being I don't want to cut into the frame and don't need it that low. Would look better hauling my jet boats around I think. I'd have to ask him what the spindles and drop Springs are but I believe it will be around 4/5 drop without the spindles and axle flip.

The easiest way to find out what drop you have is to measure center of spindle to bottom of wheel well factory is 19.5, if your looking for 4/5 stick with the flip kit in the rear and go with factory shackles. You have 2 inch drop shackles right now which would make the rear 7 or 8 depending on the flip kit brand (some kits or 5 or 6 inch drop.) It doesnt look like the spring perches are the drop perches so if you stick with the shackles only you're going to only have a 2inch drop.

I have the shackles and hangers.

Stock kit has 2 different size bushings. I didn't know it, but these drop shackles are the same I.D. as the leafs. So I'm going to have to order another set to do the other leaf.

Leaf liners. Herd good and bad things about these. I bought graphite paint but decided not to use it, original paint was still 90% in between the leafs.

I have extras of these, looked them up out of curiosity, and they are proud of new ones.

Even for stock they have 2 different shackle sized bushings, my stock shackles were the same size as the leafs, made that mistake but realized before I opened the box so was able to return for the right one

well looks like I got extras. Hopefully one of my other trucks can use them. Next time I'll check before I order everything.

Got the drop spring swapped to the new frame. Went to install drop shock, opened the box and realized the tech  I had talked to told me the wrong shock to get. Another set back, but not too big of a deal. Should have opened them when I got them.

So I been jacking with the brake lines trying to bend them to their shape. I tell you what, if I was building a show truck I'd have sent the lines back. It's hard to make a straight run straight again after they bent them to fit in the box. I get the front section pretty dang close and started on the rear section. Well it's longer. 1' 3" longer, measured the original and new ones twice with rope. Confirmed correct part number from company. Said they would get back with me in 24-48 hours. Being as the rear section comes as a set with the front section, until they call me back I'm not sure if I'm going to reuse the old rear section or not. Starting to really wish I had made my own. Reason I bought them is because I'm not ready to pull motor off of the old frame and I can't get them out with the motor in the way the frame is bent. Aggravating

Depending on the outcome with the vendor, you could always shorten the lines and double flare the ends.  Just don't forget to reinstall the line nuts before broaching.

The truck is coming along nicely.
