Struggling choosing color
« on: June 04, 2022, 12:44:24 PM »
Hey all,
New to the site, I have a 1974 blazer stripped down to bare metal at the painters and Im locked up on color.  We live near the beach so looking for that look and really only want light colors.   Im stuck between skyline blue or Spanish gold.  I love the idea of the gold but am afraid it may look dated even after the restore.  Any suggestions on these two or other colors you think would be great.

Thanks,
Eric

On your own with color! Everyone has different color interest. Like two colors, combine them.

For a beach going rig I would choose something of a dark-ish green with light tan interior.  But I'm weird so, it probably isn't for everyone.

Do good body work and you won't have to worry about hide.   8)

Just remember, paint is just the tint over your bodywork. $4-500 a gallon for good base coat.

Looks like my trucks OEM color, except my truck was a couple shades darker.
