My old motor lives again! Glad to see it getting reused.
Looks like you've been busy since the last time we talked (on both your trucks).
My 2500 is almost new again after replacing EVERYTHING the last 6 months! Taking a break for financial reasons (and the cold is getting to me).
Keep up the good work, power through the injury. I'd be out in the garage too, hurt or otherwise.

Yep the motor, tranny, transfercase, and driveshafts are in. I'll post more pics later and yes special thanks to Kevin for the block! Even though it's cold out keep pluggin away and let me know if you ever need any help!

My foot still hurts but I haven't let off it which is prolonging the healing. Tonight I went to Frank Marrattas auto show which was a disappointment. Not one chevy truck there!

I stopped going to that show a while ago. The same vehicles every year and I think they were charging more to get in and it seemed smaller every year also, you can be in and out in a couple hours. When I was young and it was at the Hartford civic center it was a day thing.

Yea, the motor looks good...shiny! Everything I do is blacked out and/ or powdercoated.
Two totally different styes, I'm anti chrome and focus mostly on function. I'll be lucky to get paint on any of the three vehicle I'm working on this year (again).

I read a couple of your posts that you hurt your foot but I dont think you told us what you did.
Slip on some of the ice that wont go away? Break, sprain?

I just happen to have a new set of chrome valve covers, timing cover and oil pan kicking around so I went with them. The idea behind this truck was everything was going to be blacked out but that went in the toilet quick. Nevertheless a little bling never hurt anyone.

The foot, lol well I could tell you but it wouldn't make much sense. It was a multiple injury.

The truck is comming along great as usual. I still have that TBI set up in the 91 Burb we talked about if you need it. I'll be parting the truck out in April. It's all yours if you want it. I see this truck is set up for TBI but I figure you will be starting another project by then.

I got the TBI adapter for the Vortec manifold and ripped apart the TBI. Glad I did, aside from being all gooked up the regulator spring was in about 5 pieces and full of rust. I just dumped it in the acid bath to soak for the weekend and ordered a rebuild kit.
