Trust me I know, I just hope I never run out of steam. Had to fix some things like brake line brackets etc and then I sprayed the engine compartment and frame with truck bed liner since this thing will see New England weather and I hate undercoating. I got it sitting in place and most items connected. Tonight I went to the hospital to see my nephew who was born at 3:40AM Say Uncle!

Got a few more things done like getting stung by hornets. Moved the Suburban out of the hole, Bed liner the cab floor and inner fenders. Some other odds and ends. If the weather cooperates, I'll get some painting done this week.

Ha! That's right, I'm going to be sad when I'm done with my shed. I bleached it and power washed it today to kill off all of the ....everything! The doors, the hood, the dash, door panels and gauges are going in the mutt. I'm sure I will find other things that will migrate over too as I move along. Got side tracked today by needy people but hopefully I will get things done tomorrow on it.

So I trashed the doors I had for it since they were aftermarket and crap. I took the hood and doors off of the 91 Suburban and reworked them. They needed a lot of work but I figured I'd rather put old GM metal on this beast then screw around with cheap tin. Made some progress...

Tomorrow I paint the jams and the cowl and hang the doors. Then I can put the fenders back on and start working on the fine tuning for the cab.

The paint looks great.
Did you spray it under the tent?

Yes, sprayed the insides of the doors and the top of the hood under the tent. Too many thing inside my garage right now. It makes too much of a mess. BD - yes pearlcoat

Today I did the jambs, windshield frame and cowl. Then I popped the doors on. Still have to align them but I'm done working. It's back to work tomorrow

PS don't make fun of my tape job. I ran out of paper.

Fixed drivers side cab corner and rocker so they are straight. Got my hood in and it was damaged on the corner. They knocked another $100 bucks off so I took it.

Got back from the swap meet today and scored some good items including this nice 73-74 GMC gate rock solid. Also found a correct AM radio for 10 bucks and some cab corner moldings. Once I thawed out I shot the bottom side of the hood.
