Thanks! I've got a brand new set of 35" BFG and a set of hurricanes. Hopefully by the time I wear these out there will either be retro wheels or they'll start making 16.5"s again. Everyone should be emailing BFG to make them again. If they get enough requests I'm sure they'd probably produce some again.

I got the latches in and door seals on today, replaced the RH tank fuel pump because it was noisy. About to spend some money now :)

I think there's a company now making slot mags with blank centers and they will machine any bolt pattern you want

Edited to add:   "Ronsrims1" On a very well known  auction site

How did I miss this build thread?

What a great looking truck!
Perfect in every regard.
I can imagine if the Designers and Engineers at GM had had their way with the Bean Counters this is what might have been.

I'm fairly certain they won't do them in 8 lug. I looked into it and they said "Unfortunately they can’t be build into 8 lugs.  The max is 6 lugs due to the load rating – the wheel does not have enough load rating to support more vehicles with 8 lugs." So I assume this guy would probably say the same. It would be nice to get some 17" slots

Thanks for the compliments.

  Looking good as always.
Glad to see that you thought ahead and bought some 35's while they were still available.

I've been hounding BFG to put them back into production even as a special order item.

What color is that? In the picture, it looks like black chrome!

That is awesome! I know a few people here have played with 3D printing stuff like that. I had the Teepee emblems also on mine.

The black on orange looks excellent!

Thanks! Once I wet sand and buff this thing will look so sweet! My woman said tonight it's Harley colors and I guess she's right. I was thinking more Garfield, but I do have a Harley not a cat lol

I met up with a dude ten minutes up the road tonight who had a bunch of parts and grabbed a set of drip rails off of him.

Got the pass side door handle and mirror test fitted.

No chrome/stainless trim going on this one. Orange and black theme. I've got plenty of shiny on the other trucks.
