Fuel selector valve wiring

Hey everybody,
      First time caller, long time listener. I have recently purchased a 1986 C10, LE9 305 with dual fuel tanks. My original 86 had dual tanks and I loved it. The fuel tank selector valve has let go (dumping fuel out of the seam) luckily parked in my driveway. Does anybody have experience with the Autozone fvs2k valve (I know it’s 6 port as mine has returns) with the wiring. Does the factory plug work (it appears to fit) or does the plug in the kit truly have to be wired in due to a difference in terminals? Thanks in advance!
