Title: Floor vents stuck on

Okay so my issue is that no matter what my slider selector switch is set to it always blows out of the floor and dash vents. The defrost never works. Ive pulled the vacuum line off of the pod that is supposed to direct air flow through defrost or floor as a test and i get no vacuum through it no matter what it is set on. Its an 88 blazer with A/C.

Is the vacuum source connected to the vacuum reservoir under the hood?

Had the same issue and unfortunately the whole system works off a vacuum. I looked under my hood and realized that the previous owner removed the vacuum canister and everything. I just deal with it but at least I have heat.
