Key stuck and locked in to run postion

My key is stuck in the ignition and its locked in the run to makr things worse the turn key ignition broke apart fixing to post a pic

Pull the B+ off the coil and then unhook the battery.  Easiest fix is a replacement column.  1984-87 C/K and 88-91 R/V series is all the same.

Changing the lock cylinder is simple and inexpensive. You need a few tools that you can either rent or purchase at any auto parts store or harbor freight. Look at the service manuals for reference.

Found out it was missing a few things so got another column for parts and getting a new key ignition thanks guys
