removing dash ?
« on: July 02, 2017, 03:14:37 PM »
I'm scrapping a 83 c10 rust bucket the dash is unmolested, How would I deal with the spot welds?   is it worth saving ?  I don't need it, but don't want to scrap it if someone might need it, scrap is low and I'm saving only some good things, for a while till they get in the way.  Don

I cut one out of a truck heading to scrap for the intentions of making a fixture to hold a dash pad I will be restoring one day.   Cut the dash under the dash pad which is an easy unseen splice.  I've also just cut out the radio opening to save it.
