Help with NP208 Seal ID
« on: November 09, 2017, 03:51:44 PM »
Fellas,

Trying to put new seals in my transfer case.

I purchased the kit from American Power Train, and was able to figure out 2 of the seals. The third one really stumps me, and it does not help that the kit came with one extra seal.

Here is a couple pictures of my 2 choices, any help greatly appreciated!

Both sides, plus a side profile:

I'm not sure what your question is? You have the input seal, the two output seals, front driveshaft, rear driveshaft.

I have 2 seals. There are 3 pictures, just showing different views. They came out of the TSK 208 kit. I am just trying to figure out which one is for the front input shaft, as they are very different seals. Size looks the same, but the designs are very different.  The kit did not show what was what, and my old seals were completely mangled, by the time I got them out, so I could not really compare old with new.
